Vintage Singer Sewing Machine.

On our Sunday walk through Astoria, Brenda, Kara, and myself made a pit stop to drop off some unwanted stuff at the local Goodwill. While making the drop Brenda noticed this beauty being dropped off by the man in front of her. After he left she opened the case to find a mint condition Singer Featherweight from the 1960's. With her game face on she asked the man behind the counter if it was for sale. He asked if she just wanted the case and she said that she would also take the sewing machine. In his laziness he told her to take it because he did not want to tag it.

Brenda ended up walking away with a nearly-mint condition sewing machine that goes at auction for as much as $600 for free. That is a good Sunday visit to the thrift store and what a beautiful machine it is.

It came compete with a bunch of bobbins, all of the original manuals, paperwork and even the receipts from Macys!
