The photography of Michael Eastman.

I stumbled across these beautiful, sparse photos by Michael Eastman while searching ffffound.com.

They exemplify the quiet corners of America (and Cuba) that are quickly vanishing to be replaced by large supermarkets and homogenous corporations. I am always happy to see artists that realize the importance of documenting these icons that will vanish soon enough.
